Regarding this, the Advertising Council Aruk has also issued a guideline in this regard.

According to these guidelines, advertisements for crypto and other digital assets are required to enter a disclaimer from April 1, 2022. It will be written in the disclaimer that digital currency is not yet regulated in India and investing in it is dangerous.

Significantly, crypto is a decentralized currency but it is negatively affected by some institutions and big people. They negatively affect its market by pumping and dumping large amounts of money. 1. Before investing in cryptocurrency, know that it is not a legal tender. If something wrong happens to you in future, you cannot make any claim about it.
2. Cryptocurrency investments are subject to market risks. There are many ups and downs in these daily. The profits and losses on the money invested in crypto are very fast.
   Investing in cryptocurrencies is very risky. It is important to do good research before investing in it. Take the investment decision only after getting good knowledge about cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.
3. It is important to know who is operating cryptocurrencies and crypto exchanges. Find out about the team running the digital asset. Also get updated about its genuineness and credibility via Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn.
4. The biggest problem with cryptocurrency is crypto whales. Crypto whales are those investors who dump their money in cryptocurrencies in large quantities. This increases its value to a great extent. On the other hand, when they withdraw their money together, the value of the crypto drops significantly. Due to this, small and medium-sized investors suffer a lot.
5. Cryptocurrency is very risky. Therefore, investors should invest in digital currency as much as they are willing to lose. Its weightage should not be high in your portfolio.
