Bharat Petroleum has informed the stock market that it has entered into a 15-year agreement with Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) for the supply of 600 KTPA of propane from BPCL’s LG import facility. This propane supply will be for GAIL’s PHD-PP project in Raigad, Maharashtra. The agreement has an estimated annual value of 4,250 crores and a cumulative value of 63,000 crores over the 15-year duration. This contract will help BPCL meet its propane feedstock requirements, as the company plans to commence its PHD-PP project in 2025. GAIL expects significant earnings over the next 15 years through this agreement.
