Drone Terrorism Ignoring is Cause of Ludhiana Blast : It’s Drone terrorism that is constantly landing Punjab in trouble and Ludhiana Blast is one such
incident. The Punjab Government denial mode on the threat to Punjab had brought the state to land in trouble.
Ludhiana Blast proved that Punjab is facing an ongoing threat from Pakistan, said Senior Advisor to Capt Amarinder Singh, Lt. Gen (Retd) T S Shergill, while speaking to The Daily Guardian.

Recently, as revealed in an official statement of BSF, on 17 December near the Wan Border post BSF detected and shot downed the Chinese made drone in Ferozepur Sector.

BSF Director General (DG) Pankaj Kumar Singh had told reporters on November 30 that there have been a total of 67 drone sightings along the border in Punjab and Jammu areas this year.
Right now, the frequency of drones that are coming to our country is fairly small and these are by-and-large Chinese-made drones…they are very good…and carrying small payloads and in 95% cases they are carrying drugs, said Singh.

As per the official reports of Punjab Police, Over the past 10 days, the drones are said to have carried out 8 sorties to drop the weapons, which also include satellite phones.
What had happened in the Ludhiana Court Complex is a clear result of Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi’s negligence.
Captain Amarinder Singh had kept on saying that Punjab is facing threat due to the regular infiltration of Drones through Pakistan Border.
The Government has to understand that it is not about any political party or election, it is a national security issue, said Lt. Gen (Retd) Shergill. Lt Gen (Retd) Shergill further told The Daily Guardian, “Earlier the reaching frequency of these drones were only 6 km and recently it is been noticed that drones are reaching beyond 31 km and even after that.
Captain Amarinder Singh in his dialogue with the Centre Government, had constantly told that Punjab is facing threat and drones that were not caught, are more cause of concern than the dead one. We so far do not have any electronic means to gauge these drones unless we make such arrangements with civilians while making them as an observer.”
