On the occasion of the New Year, Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have reduced the prices of commercial LPG cylinders. This marks the second reduction in the prices of 19kg commercial LPG cylinders within 11 days. While on December 22, there was a cut of more than INR 39 per cylinder in this segment, this time there has been a slight reduction.
On the New Year’s day, oil marketing companies have reduced the prices of commercial gas cylinders by INR 1.50. The new rates are now in effect. However, there has been no change in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders, which have remained stable for several months.

According to the Indian Oil Corporation’s website, the new prices for 19-kilogram Indane cylinders are effective today. In Delhi, the rate is INR 1755, in Kolkata, it is INR 1869, in Mumbai, it is INR 1708, and in Chennai, it is INR 1924 per cylinder. As for the 14.2-kilogram Indane cylinder, in Delhi, the price is INR 903, in Kolkata, it is INR 929, in Mumbai, it is INR 902, and in Chennai, it is INR 918. The prices of the 14.2-kilogram cylinders have not changed since August 30, 2023.
