5th Aanniversary of Khodaldham And Patidar Power Show in Gujarat
At a time when every community is planning to play a leading role in the forthcoming Assembly elections by organizing a show of strength according to their size and rank, not only Leuva Patel, but also many other communities have started preparing for another big religious event in Khodaldham.
Now, if Corona’s guidelines are relaxed, then there will be a Patidar power show at Khodaldham, chaired by Naresh Patel, and the cycle of keeping Prime Minister Narendra Modi present has accelerated.
It is also being considered as a math to increase the political size of the state by organizing a show of strength of the Patidars through such religious gatherings even before the assembly elections.
Patidar Power Show in Gujarat and Patotsav on January 21
After years of hard work, Khodaldham was built as a symbol of the faith of the Leuva Patel community, which was included in the list of well-known monasteries across the country. Record-breaking was unveiled on January 21, 2016 in the presence of the people, and it has been decided to hold a Patotsav on January 21, as it is completing five years.
Apart from Saurashtra, millions of people from the Leuva Patel community, which has a large population across the country, including Gujarat, throng to any religious event in Khodaldham. It is clear that Umti will also fall in the Patotsav on 21st January.
The trustees of Khodaldham have also held three meetings as part of the preparations for the event. Not only that, Khodaldham pioneer and chairman Naresh Patel has also toured Amreli, Junagadh and Jamnagar districts. There are indications that he will visit other districts and Gujarat as well as other states in the coming days to make preparations.
Modi will also be present at the Khodaldham Patotsav
Importantly, there are preliminary indications that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also be present at the Khodaldham Patotsav if Corona’s guidelines are relaxed. The Prime Minister’s Office has been contacted by the trustees of Khodaldham.
Preliminary information about the program has been provided. The trustees will soon go to Delhi for a formal invitation and meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in person.
Sources said that the program of Patotsav has been decided, but it will be decided now whether to hold it on a grand scale, as it will depend entirely on the guidelines of the government.
Corona Guidelines for Khodaldham Patotsav
Although thousands of people flock to BJP programs, the Corona guidelines are legally enforced and only 400 people are allowed in religious programs. In case of relaxation or removal of these rules, a festival will definitely be organized.
There is no denying the possibility of holding a grand program in Khodaldham at a time when there is speculation that the Assembly elections in Gujarat may be held early.
From time to time representations are made by the Patidars that they are not given enough importance on the basis of population.
It is pertinent to mention that there was a public statement that the Chief Minister should be Patidar.
Apart from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers including Mansukh Mandvia, Parsottam Rupala, the entire Cabinet including Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Patidar industrialists from all over the country are expected to attend the event in Khodaldham.
