The aim of this summit is to promote tourism in Punjab to strengthen the state’s economic position. As part of this initiative, a dedicated mobile application will also be launched.

Punjab’s Minister of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Gagan Maan, mentioned that the state government is in the process of launching a dedicated mobile application with the goal of facilitating seamless communication between investors and tour operators. She stated that this app will work as a one-stop platform, providing a unique experience for those interested in investing in the tourism potential of our state and for travelers looking for exceptional experiences provided by tour operators.

Minister Anmol Gagan Maan also highlighted the heritage circuit theme under the Swadesh Darshan Scheme, which has approved projects worth 91.55 crore rupees aimed at boosting tourism in Punjab. She also highlighted that the government has already allocated resources for hosting various festivals and events, such as the 6th Military Literature Festival, celebrating the 50th anniversary of Faridkot district, and enhancing the state’s art and culture through collaboration with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) listed in the MOUs (Memorandum of Understanding).
