Chinese tech company Realme has launched the Realme C51 smartphone in India today, which is September 4th. In the budget segment, the company has provided a 50MP primary camera on the rear panel of this phone. Additionally, it comes with a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
What sets this phone apart is the inclusion of the ‘Dynamic Island’ functionality, similar to the iPhone 14 Pro. Realme is calling it the ‘Mini Capsule.’ However, it’s important to note that this phone cannot be directly compared to the specifications of the iPhone 14 Pro, as the latter is a premium phone, while the Realme C51 is a budget smartphone.
As per the company, the Realme C51 also provides information on walking steps through its “Mini Capsule” feature on the home screen, in addition to displaying data usage and charging information.

Display: The Realme C51 features a 6.74-inch HD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen-to-body ratio is 90.3%, and it offers a peak brightness of 560 nits.
Hardware and Software: For performance, the phone is equipped with the UNISOC T612 octa-core chipset and runs on the Realme UI 4.0 operating system, based on Android 13.
Camera: Photography-wise, the Realme C51 boasts a dual-camera setup, including a 50MP primary camera and a 0.08MP secondary camera. It also has a 5MP front camera with a waterdrop design for selfies and video calls.
Battery and Charging: The phone packs a 5000mAh battery for power backup and supports 33W fast charging. The company claims that the phone can charge from 0 to 50% in just 28 minutes.
Connectivity: Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port for charging.
Variants, Price, and Availability: Realme has launched the smartphone in a single variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, priced at an introductory rate of ₹8,999. Buyers can purchase the phone starting from September 11th through the company’s official website and the e-commerce website Flipkart.
