YEIDA Toy Park Uttar Pradesh: The under-construction Toy Park cluster in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is proving to be a significant initiative. Continuous inauguration and unveiling events are taking place for industrial units in Sector 33 of this Toy Park.
Uttar Pradesh, as a leading state, is establishing itself in realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India) and the Make in India mission. In this direction, several projects are being implemented in the state under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The under-construction Toy Park cluster in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is proving to be a significant initiative. Continuous inauguration and unveiling events are taking place for industrial units in Sector 33 of this Toy Park. It is expected that the industrial units to be established here will commence their production in the coming year. This means that with the help of this Toy Park, India’s toy market will soon advance globally, surpassing China’s dominance. It’s noteworthy that toys made in India are exported to nearly 50 countries worldwide. After the construction of this Toy Park, more production and exports can be assured.
Allocation of 142 plots
The Chairman of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), Anil Kumar Sagar, inaugurated the construction work of industrial units in the under-construction Toy Park in Sector 33 on Saturday. The authority is constructing a Toy Park on a 100-acre area in Sector 33. The authority has allocated 142 plots of various categories for this, of which 91 units have been issued a check list, and 39 units have completed the lease deed process. Presently, several factories are being inaugurated in this industrial Toy Park cluster. As per Ajay Agrawal, President of The Toy Association of India, several factories will complete their construction work and start production in the coming year. He mentioned that there has been a decrease in toy imports in the last few years, while exports have increased. Currently, exports account for around 60% of the industry. This initiative aligns well with Prime Minister Modi’s Make in India mission. He also appealed to entrepreneurs to manufacture high-quality toys in this Toy Park. In today’s time, the toy industry in India has significant potential, and everyone should benefit from it.
Industries being established in the Toy Park Cluster
In this cluster, the construction of various types of industrial units such as Soft Toys, Electronic Toys, Wooden Toys, Ride-On Toys, Slides, Board Games, Plastic Toys, and Playground Equipment Toys will take place. Renowned companies in the toy industry have set up units on the allocated plots, including units for Soft Toy Manufacturing, Ride-On Toy Manufacturing, Electronic Toy Manufacturing, Mechanical Toys, Electronic Transformers for Toys, and Electrical Toys, among others. Companies like Fun2Learn Toys India, Fun Ride Toys LLP, and many others are part of this cluster.
5-acre Common Facility Center under construction
The authority is also constructing a 5-acre Common Facilities Center in the Toy Park Cluster. The Yamuna Authority’s Toy Cluster is the largest toy cluster in the country. There is also significant potential for employment in the toy cluster. According to information, the construction of this Toy Park Cluster will lead to an investment of approximately INR 1100 crores and the creation of direct and indirect employment for around 6000 people.
Infrastructure Prepared with Emphasis on Convenience and Safety
Under the Indian Government’s PLI (Production-Linked Incentive) scheme, the necessary facilities are being provided by the authority. The development work in this sector, primarily involving roads, sewage, electrical lines, water supply, etc., has been undertaken by the authority. Entrepreneurs will be provided with better security and transportation facilities. Electricity, water, and road connectivity will be available in this cluster as well. A flat factory will also be constructed in the Toy Park Cluster to accommodate support industries for the toy industry.
